Haynes

The Haynes family married well – into the Franco family – but seem to have squandered their wealth.
Daniel, a wine merchant in Fenchurch Street, London, married Catherine, heiress to the rich Francos.
They lived in three houses at the same time - at Lonesome Lodge, near Dorking in Surrey, at Twickenham, Middlesex and in Fenchurch Street, London.
Daniel Franco Haynes, their son, married Mary Shelley (the sister, not the wife, of the poet), but she ran off with James O'Hara Trevor and Daniel, nervous that Trevor would try and pass off his children as heirs to the Franco fortune, decided he would have to get a very expensive divorce by Act of Parliament. Maybe that's where a lot of the money went!
